[ale] Spell checkers

I'm looking for a good spellchecker, ispell is great execept one not so
minor wish, it needs to handle words that are more then one letter off.
Also if anyone can point me in the right direction for getting pine and
ispell (and anything else thats suggested) to talk to one another I'd be
greatful
