[ale] Mgetty+sendfax installation

Got a copy of Caldera Desktop LinuX from Networld+Interop, (runs on top
of Red Hat 3.0.3.
I'm trying to install mgety+sendfax, and get a message that theres no
version.h in linux/include. looked on the net, found waht I thought was
an answer: make mr proper, make config, make dep, make cleam. that did
not produce a version. h file in the above directory. can anybody point
me in the right direction?
