[ale] seeking backup system recommendations

i have linux running on a wintel box, with scsi adaptor

what are my options for a backup system, which will be compatible with
windows95 ? 

looking for something that is not terribly expensive, yet good.

(of course, i guess i could also backup the dos partition from linux ?)
