The easiest way is to add aline that says "Depth 16" to the screen section
where you declare all the different resolutions that will work.  Right
before the "modes" section works nicely.

I'm running 1152x900x16bpp and its very nice. 'course lots of X apps don't
understand that color depth. Arena being one...
