[ale] xterm border color

Okay, I've ripped out enough hair over this one.  I can fire up xterm and
set the color of the window, text, text cursor and pointer cursor.  Whenever
I use the border color flag '-bd' I always get one of two things.  Either
the color that is defined in my .Xinitrc or a standard grey.  Where do
I fix this so I can set the border color to what I want?
