My ide0 has two hard disks /dev/hda and /dev/hdb.  My second has only a
cdrom.  I never could figure it out, but it is /dev/hdd.  I assumed that it
would have been the next alphabetical choice, /dev/hdc.  Anyway, 'dmesg'
gives the following regarding IRQs, hard disks and cdrom:
