As part of their license agreement with Caldera, Netscape is supposed to 
be making ELF and dynamically linked versions of Netscape.  I don't know 
what their time table is, though they don't seem to be in any hurry.

Also, I'd assume that if Netscape actually bothers to make various 
versions, that these will be available for all linux distributions, not 
just caldera, subject to the usual licensing agreements (i.e., free for 
educational, $40 or whatever it is for users, etc.).  I could be wrong, 
of course.
