[ale] gs and LaserJet5L

Hi,
I hope this isn't a totally stupid question, but here goes.

I am looking for a version of ghostscript that will deal with Hewlett
Packard's LaserJet 5L (non postscript) printer.  I currently have gs
2.6.2.  The reason that I think that I need it is to get printing
working on the 5L.  The printer seems to kind of like "laserjet" and
"ljet4" as a devices (sending it a postscript file), but it messes up
some things like the spacing and such.

Has anyone gotten printing to work with a 5L?

If someone can throw me some clues, or if I have been lax in my 
description of my problem please let me know.

I am running the RedHat 3.03 March 96.
