[ale] fvwm-95

I got it to compile just fine also.  when I try to execute fvwm it gives   
me an error that says can't open display.  Openwindows and xwindows work   
fine.  Any ideas?

I am using it now. It compiled with not problems.
I am using Linux 2.0.0 with fully updated "accessories" as listed
   in the Changes file ( except I have gcc 2.7.0 - not 2.7.2 )
