Slip route question

If I have my PC ip 205.142.5.2 Gateway 205.142.5.10 configured
and I have a slip attached ip 205.142.5.3 should the gateway of the
slip machine be 205.142.4.10 or should it be the ip of the machine it
is attached to 205.142.5.2 ?  If it is the ip of the machine it is attached
to then what route command must is issue on 205.142.5.2 so that all packets
from slip are routed out eth0 and to the internet ?
