anyone interested in oh..... say about 12meg worth of the last set of
instructions on how to unsub(exactly like listed below) over and over and over
and over and over....... well.... you get the picture. You can get it at
ftp://ftp.maximumaccess.com/pub/stuff/morestuff/idiot
if you dont want the whole thing or want a smaller version then use a browser
and just let it read the file for a while and then hit the stop button and save
to disk.

Welcome to GEEKS!

"The difference between a geek and a nerd is
that a geek has social skills"
                        -unknown

Geeks is a list for... well.. geeks to share geeky,
technical humor that their non-geek friends and
cow-orkers might not get. All geeky postings are welcome,
as long as it fits this framework:

- It must be technical.
- It must be funny.
- It should have a UNIX/network/Internet based topic.
Here on GEEKS, we think WhinDoze is the spawn
of Satan, and we don't want to see non-geek stuff
        on a geek list.
- There should be NO USEFUL INFORMATION given.. This is
a humor list, not a tech support list.. :)

And now, a special message from root..
*******************************************************************
*...PLEASE HELP KEEP THE GEEKS LIST FROM BECOMING A LUSER HAVEN...*
*There are over 500 people on GEEKS. Help make this a funny place.*

*the first time around, but after reading it fifty times, it's *
*really annoying. *
*/\ This list is for computer/technical humor. This is not a *
*majordomo-version of rec.humor- postings here should be related *
*to computers in some way. *
*/\ We're all geeks here. There's no need for "I'm geekier than *

If you're confused, or don't like the above-stated policy-
please unsubscribe now, and head over to rec.humor.

If you feel at home already, welcome! Kick back, and enjoy the
company of your fellow geeks!

Send all submissions to [email protected].

This list is now being maintained by Majordomo, an automated list
manager. All administrative requests should go to
[email protected].

To unsubscribe to the list, send a message to [email protected]
containing the following text in the body of the message:

unsubscribe geeks your_email_address

where "your_email_address" is, surprisingly enough, your email
address.

PLEASE don't send administrative requests to the list at large.
Let me say that again- Please, Please, Please, Please (Please?)
don't send administrative requests to the list at large. Doing so
might result in your mailbox quickly filling with entertaining
core dumps from friendly geeks around the world...
