A way to serious submission to this list -Reply

I sympathize and agree. Since I have not run a majordomo or a listserv, I
confess that I do not know all that is involved, but is it possible to set it up
so that all messages are received and then maybe spit back out as a daily
digest? Just a thought...

Fellow geeks,

I really like the funnies that come through on this list. However, it is a
terribly noisy list. As someone who deals with about 200 emails a day,
the additional 30 from the list are painful. I think the challenge is the
threads that get going on various initial jokes. All the threads are brilliant.
Especially the one about e-mail at 3 am . . . So its hard to ask for the list to
change . . .

So I'll probably unsubscribe in a few days. I just wanted to throw this out
to get a sense of the direction of the list. Is there interest in reducing the
noise - to - content ratio? Or is that the intended goal? Is this note too
geeky?? Or perhaps not geeky enough . . . ?
